Master Performance Coach

Mark Smith

Meet Mark Smith, one of Hong Kong's finest golf coaches with 23 years of coaching experience. His accolades include guiding players to victory at the highest levels, from junior to senior ranks, both in amateur and professional tournaments.

Originally from Australia, Mark coached at State and National Player level before making his mark in London at the Regents Park Golf & Tennis School. In Hong Kong, he held positions as Director of Instruction at the Whiterock Golf Academy, coached at various clubs, and served as a Director of The Golf School of Hong Kong. Most recently, he was the Lead Instructor at GolfZon-GreenLive Hong Kong.

Mark's coaching philosophy centers on a holistic approach and incorporating cutting-edge technology to optimize results. His mission is to instill a love for the game in his students, and he considers their success as his own, making them partners in their golf journey.

With a passion for helping golfers of all ages and abilities, Mark excels in offering structured coaching pathways tailored to individual goals. While he follows a solid framework, he understands and enjoys the importance of adapting coaching techniques to suit each golfer's unique strengths and abilities.

Senior Performance Coach

Kavin Kam

Kavin has been a full member of the Australian PGA for 26 years since 1996.  Having coached internationally in Australia, Thailand, Singapore, China and Hong Kong, Kavin is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

He’s coaching record has seen him spend many years as the leading instructor at renowned golf clubs such as Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club (8 years), PGA of America HK (3 years), The Jockey Club Kau Sai Chau (3 years), Mission Hills Shenzhen (2 years), Banyan Tree Phuket (2 years).

Kavin is well versed in the latest coaching techniques and technology as he managed both PGA centers and its coaches in Hong Kong from 2019 to 2022.

Kavin has competed in the Hong Kong Open and finished in the top 10 of the Hong Kong PGA order of merit, he holds an MBA degree from Melbourne University and worked for leading golf management company IMG (International Management Group) as Senior Director of Operations.

Florence Yuen

Florence has been a full member of the Hong Kong PGA since 2007. Previously she was the Head Golf Professional at Nine Eagles Golf Course from 2009-2015, Florence is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

 

Her coaching experience includes years at City Golf Club, Asia Golf Club and Island Golf Club.

 

Florence has many accomplishments in the golf industry including being honored as the Hong Kong PGA Trainee of the Year in 2007. “I believe that for one to reach their full potential, it requires a customised holistic approach as no two students are the same” - Florence Yuen

Ryan Hood

As a seasoned tour player, Ryan brings a wealth of experience from playing on mini tours across Asia, including the All Thailand Golf Tour, PGTA, PGT, the local Thai tour, and the Asian Development Tour. Hailing from Carnoustie, Scotland, he developed his passion for golf on the prestigious grounds of his home course.

Ryan is a full member of Thailand PGA and is dedicated to helping students enhance their skills and reach new heights in their golfing journey. His unique blend of international playing experience and solid knowledge of the golf swing equips him to provide personalized insights and effective practice methods tailored to each student's needs.

Eugene Kwok

"Better Today, Better Forever!"

Eugene graduated in the UK with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Biomedicine and Nutrition. He is also a certified strength and conditioning coach (Michael Boyle - CFSC) with over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. Prior becoming a coach, Eugene worked 2 years as a nutritional consultant who specialised in weight loss and transformation.

Eugene believes athleticism is not born, but rather is a skill that can be taught and learned. Essentially, everybody can become an athlete. We can all learn to move better, with good stability, coordination, and learn to produce good power.

He is experienced in FMS movement scanning, FRC mobility & flexibility training, pre & post natal training, CFSC strength & conditioning, and post-injury rehabilitation.

Terence Li

Meet Terence, a single-handicap golfer and a certified Golf Fitness Specialist under the National Academy of Sports Medicine. With a TPI Level 2 certification in Golf Fitness and Power, Terence is a leading expert in optimizing golf performance through physical fitness and mobility.

Having experienced the setbacks of a hip injury that affected his golf game, Terence recognized the critical role of physical fitness and functional movement in game improvement. This realization fueled his passion for helping golfers unlock their true potential on the course.

Terence's approach centers on creating personalized training programs that align with the functional biomechanics of the golf swing. He firmly believes that a strong foundation in functional movement is the key to achieving greater clubhead speed, precision, and overall performance, while also reducing the risk of injury and promoting long-term game longevity.

Dedicated to staying ahead in the field, Terence and his team prioritize ongoing education, ensuring they remain at the forefront of sports science and training methodologies. By incorporating evidence-based practices into their coaching, they consistently fine-tune their approach to meet the unique needs of each golfer.

Neo Leung

Meet Neo, a certified strength and conditioning coach (CSFC - Michael Boyle) and a stick mobility coach. With an associate degree in science health fitness, Neo's passion lies in promoting mobility as the key to success.

Neo believes that moving freely without pain or restrictions enhances daily life and prevents injuries. His personalized training focuses on improving joint mobility, coordination, and body strength, enabling better control of one's own movements. With Neo's guidance, movement becomes better, leading to an improved quality of life.

Timothy is a sports rehab and therapy specialist who has extensive experience working with professional athletes at the HK Rugby Sevens and International Tennis Federation Pro. He is passionate about helping clients achieve their sports performance goals.
