We’re looking for a Golf Physiotherapist who understands that elite golf performance starts with the body. If you’re passionate about the intersection of physiotherapy, biomechanics, and high-performance training — and you’re excited to work with a team of golf professionals — we want to meet you.
This isn’t a traditional physio role. You’ll be working with Hong Kong’s most motivated golfers, backed by world-class technology, and given the autonomy to shape the business.
Why This Role Exists
Golfers have unique needs: swing efficiency, distance, consistency, and injury prevention. At OGP, we believe that great performance coaching combines clinical expertise, data-driven feedback, and genuine care for each athlete’s journey.
You’ll be part of a team that includes PGA coaches, S&C specialists, and a master club fitter — all working together for the same clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for client health, injury prevention, and physical readiness.
- Perform golf-specific orthopedic examinations and movement screens (TPI-based).
- Educate clients on movement efficiency, durability, and sustainable performance.
- Develop individualized “Performance Longevity” plans for golfers of all levels.
- Provide 1-on-1 physiotherapy services to golfers ranging from competitive amateurs to elite players, including shockwave, manual therapy, joint mobilization, and mobility work.
- Provide integrated physiotherapy and personal training services to clients through delegation to personal trainers.
- Contribute to the education and ongoing development of personal trainers, elevating their clinical and coaching standards.
- Collaborate daily with Golf Coaches and Fitness Trainers to build holistic development plans.
- Maintain accurate digital documentation.
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Must Have
- Holder of a valid Certificarte of Registration (Part 1a) and Practising Certificate issued by the Physiotherapists Board of Hong Kong
- Strong clinical reasoning and hands-on assessment skills
- Excellent communicationa and interpersonal skills
- Patient-centered, detail-oriented and eager to learn.
- Open minded, grounded and responsible character.
- Ability to work well in a team and support the collective development of the coaching community and the company
- Positive attitue, professional, friendly and genuinely caring towards patients
- You understand the golf swing, common golf injuries, and how the body generates power and consistency
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience, with a focus on sports physiotherapy
- You're not just a clinician, you are someone who can inspire, develop, and hold a team accountable
- Valid Hong Kong work status
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a private practice is an advantage
- TPI certification or background in golf fitness
- Experience in 3D motion analysis
- Experience coaching juniors (ages 6 - 16) or working with elite athletes
- Cantonese or Mandarin in addition to English
- Experience leading or managing a team of fitness professionals
